本片根据日本民间传说《竹取物语》的故事改编。
该剧主要讲述了一个原本一直在混日子的中年男屌丝，在遭遇了一系列意外之后，突然面临着不曾体会的考验：作为男人对责任和承诺的坚守，以及对一家人和美幸福的维护。
