《Femme Fatales》杂志创始人打造的深夜档选集剧（anthology series），主角是那些强势、性感和危险的女人。本剧启发于低俗小说、绘本小说、黑色电影、以及各种B级片，并以此类作品风格为基调，展开十三个以女性为主角且相对独立叙述的单元剧。
《边城汉子》主要讲述在1927年到1950年间，主人公蒲地流为了营救生活于水深火热之中的父老乡亲，他消灭土匪举家投奔解放区，并为湘西剿匪立下汗马功劳的故事。
还好有热心友善的樱小路（手越佑也饰）和光（新垣结衣饰）的鼓励，真喜男重拾信心，先是当上了班干部，在球技大赛胜利后，他开始渐渐取得认可，通向老大之途呈一片大好之势！
