故事在这个北部城市展开，某日哥哥Pran突然遭遇了车祸，陷入昏迷，而弟弟Pranon发觉事有蹊跷，认为是有幕后黑手想要争夺他们的家产而设计让哥哥出事，为了调查出事故的真相，弟弟明确离开曼谷，离开这个斗争的漩涡，来到北部的一个城市秘密进行本人的调查计划（也有可能是哥哥在这个城市发生的车祸，所以弟弟来这里调查）。为了打消父母催促他回曼谷的念头，弟弟计划找一个假妻子，以本人在外府结婚成家为由继续留在这里调查。这时女主出现了，两人明确各取所需，弟弟以帮助女主还债为条件让女主和本人假结婚。女主再一次陷入了谎言之中，不过这一次，却是以婚姻的形式欺骗双方的父母和朋友，况且也在不断地欺骗本人，我们并不相爱，我们并不爱对方。婚后弟弟一直没能实施他的替身计划，所以他和女主的契约婚姻得以维持下去。在相处中两人假戏真做产生了爱恋，甚至发生关联。但是因为弟弟要秘密筹划本人的调查，时常偷偷的讲电话，再加上也总有很多女人围绕在他身边，所以女主渐渐对他产生了怀疑和误会。他们不断地争吵，爱恋出现了裂痕，
