本片的故事发生在二次世界大战后的德国。15岁的少年迈克尔·伯格因为患病身体十分虚弱，一次意外晕倒，幸好遇上了公共汽车售票员汉娜出手相救。康复后的伯格一心登门道谢，汉娜的成熟抚媚深深撩拨起伯格年少冲动的情怀，即使两人之间相距21岁之多，但一段沉迷于肉欲的姐弟恋情仍然无法制止地发生了。汉娜最喜欢的事情就是听伯格为她朗读各种文学名著，《奥德赛》、《哈克历险记》、《牵狗的女人》……随着一次次的朗读，两人之间的感情日益加深。

4个小故事的短剧，分别讲述了变性、双性、男同、女同的故事。第一集“T”跨性别者。跨性别（Transgender）通常是指一个人在心理上无法认同自己与生俱来的生理性别，相信自己应该属于另一种性别。本集讲述的是i身为变性人的一些经历和过往的回忆。
离太远看不清楚，大概可以确定的是这位将军甲胄比千户要豪华不少，个头也超了这黑胖子，下巴上有些胡子，身材颇为魁梧却不肥胖，虽谈不上多么的英姿飒爽，但总算是有将军该有的样子。
这部戏的画面亮丽清新，除靓男俊女的主人公外，服装、场景乃至道具无不展现时尚气息。剧情的展开将跟随五个都市青年为实现各自心愿而一同自北京出发游经上海、珠海、马来西亚部分城市，终点到达加拿大的多伦多。每到一处驻足点都因种种机缘发生了一个个动人心魄的故事，爱情的情恨交加；旅途的险象环生与刺激；金钱面前人性所表露出贪梦与正义的反复、冲撞；浪漫的情感体验与现实问题间所产生的矛盾和失落感等等，细腻地刻画出一幅幅浓墨重彩的人生画卷，使全剧富有人性，充满了酸甜苦辣且耐人寻思。
由这次公布的海报可以看出《大侠黄飞鸿》或许将与万合天宜以往作品的风格都有所区别，少了许多低成本搞笑，多了几分大片的即视美感。概念海报与内容海报不同，它是将影片的元素进行碎片化和符号化的处理，是更具艺术性的创作，它传递的主要是影片的核心概念，并让影片变得神秘而有趣。《大侠黄飞鸿》的这张概念海报以人物为主体，显然是以黄飞鸿为核心内容，神秘的色彩与造型似乎在向观众宣传一个理念：这将是一个不一样的大侠。
