八仙全传之八仙过海是香港中文电视台在2009年推出的一部电视剧，主要讲述了唐朝末年，东海一带，瘟疫肆虐汉锺离和铁拐李为拯救苍生百姓，决定往东海之东的药岛采药。岂料事与愿违，跟两仙数有嫌隙的莽龙太子阻挠，双方一言不合大打出手，莽龙太子被杀。东海龙王就长子莽龙之死，告上天庭，东海龙王因不满玉帝裁决，誓言封锁东海，不论仙凡两界，无人可达东海之东的药岛。太白金星慨言一切都是千百年来种下的因果，只有八仙俱全，方能安然过海，玉帝遂遣汉钟离和铁拐李两仙下凡，找寻尚未成仙的其余六仙，合八仙之力，渡过东海，采药以济苍生的故事。
